I would like to know the year and model old or new of Winnebago Journey DP that have full baths (shower, sink, toilet all in one room). I know Winnebago made one a few years ago and this model came equipped with a Cat motor. I can't remember the model number? Thanks, John

I don't know the answer, but you can go here Winnebago Previous Model Years and check out the brochures for prior years. This will give you the floorplans, specs, etc.

The Journey first appeared in the 2000 model year. Engines have been Cummins ISB (usually standard equipment on smaller Journey models) and the 7-liter Cat (on larger Journey, sometimes optional on smaller).
Floorplans with "private" bath have included 34B (2000-2001) and 32T (2001-2006). The 32T was the floorplan with the hard walls around the bath.
I don't think you will find a Journey 32T with a Cat engine, this was not normally an option on that floorplan, though later models had a transmission upgrade option.
This is from the sales brochures, which you can find on Winnbago's website, going back to their first year of making motorhomes.

Think about that floor plan this way, say you go to a campground to use the Shower, or this could be anywhere and you just need to take a shower. Someone is in there using the toilet and had some really BAD food, or at least to you it smelled bad, because it certainly wouldn't have tasted like it smells now. The smell is so bad you want to throw-up. This is a situation you can cause and face when you have a coach with an all-in one bathroom/comod. That's why these floor plans are not odered any more. Sure it makes a nice all-in one room, but the down sides are not what RVers want to deal with. Also, these type of bathroom/restrooms are smaller, let me tell from experience. I bummbed-up my knee getting out of the coach and could not bend it the pain was so excruciating. Now try to use the toilet in a coach with tite quarters, it won't happen.
Unless your a loner and no one travels with you, this floor plan might be just right for you, but then again try to sell it down the road and your choice of floor plans may cost you a bundle if your lucky to sell it.

Another reason to split the bathroom into two is that one person can be in the shower while another can be in the toilet area. A second good reason is after a shower, the room is quite steamy, so having separate rooms allows using the toilet without sweating.

Check out their "TD" floor plans. DW & I really liked them except the all in one bath. We want a separate water closet.

Other options for a private bath in entry level diesel pushers include some models in Newmar Ventana, and Monaco/Holiday Rambler/Safari lines (I know them as Vacationer and Knight, as Monaco Corp is represented only by the H-R brand in our area).

Thanks, Moonman. I'm just going to take my time and possibly purchase one this winter when it's more of a buyers market. I'm not in a hurry and that's the type of coach the DW is interested in a full bath model. We own a full bath Adventurer and it has worked out great for our needs so far. John
