I have a '95 Damon Intruder (Class A) and was wondering if anyone has rewired the electrical to the front TV to allow it to be used while the engine is running. I am decent at electrical stuff but just don't know where to look or how this outlet is being shut down when engine is running. Don't worry, I don't plan on watching the TV while driving, it is for my young family. I am sure I am not the only one that has wanted to do this.
Thanks...

This was discussed a couple of months ago, but I couldn't find the thread... anyway, there is a relay that senses tat the ignition is on, and kills the power to the outlet. As I recall, some were able to find the relay and disable it, others just run a lead-cord to an out let that stays hot while traveling.

It's been done. There is a relay activated by the ignition switch, to shut off that outlet. It should be near the outlet or near the ignition switch.

Check the outlet where the TV is plugged into. On our mh the relay/socket was plugged into an outlet and the TV was plugged into the relay/outlet. I just removed the relay/output and plugged the TV into the outlet.
No more ignition controlling the TV...

It is being shutdown by the 12v wires that go to the outlet. When the ignition is hot a 12v relay in the outlet box disconnects the 110v in the outlet.
Mine was a duplex box. Took all of that out and put new outlets in, wired straight to 110v.
Cause I wanted to.

On our's there is an outlet beside the one that TV was plugged into, as easy as unplugging and plugging back in 4" over. Now that makes a lot of since, but than maybe Fleetwood got it right.

In some coaches, the fuse is labeled "TV Interlock"

In my 06 Damon Daybreak, the live plug is right next to the Interlocking plug in the cabinet to the right of the TV.

In my MH in the power panel in the engine bay is a fuse labeled TV interlock, Remove fuse and TV works. Dont worry most people with kids want the TV to work, great entertainment option while traveling.

Is this some sort of rule for gas MH's only? Our MADP's tv always works regardless of ignition on or off. Glad for that, can't watch the "Weather Channel" without the TV!
