That's terrible! Maybe they'll bypass my TT, no LCD's!

In my storage lot (mobile park) they go after generators -- much more lucrative! A few years ago they cut a hole in the fence and got two in one night! They had attempted to get my 5500 Onan but the spare tire above (locked compartment) it prevented removal. I found all four mounting bolts on the pavement under the moho!I noticed that my new rig has a genny that can be dropped out with just four bolts, two connectors and the gas line to undo so I wrapped a logging chain with huge padlock on it! Otherwise it's a fiteen minute job for any thief with a couple of wrenches and a transmission jack! BEWARE!

at Lowe's the other day I saw a lockable cable that had what looked like half a handcuff on one end and loop on the other. a really massive cable that looked like it would take at least twice as long to cut through as the standard ones.

Same thing happened in Bend a couple of months ago to a camper dealer. It's everywhere.

PS - I think they caught these guys with a garage full of stolen property.

We recently saw this in Atlanta at a Rv dealer. Several of his new Monaco and HR were broken into and the HD tvs stolen. It was sad to see a new Navigator with the front cabinets destroyed by the theves.

when I bought a conversion van in Baltimore about 14 years ago, there was a big sign in the windows of all of them on the lot, "No TV inside". it was a big problem then also.

We as tax payers "hired" the police and judges to take care of the problems like this. If they can't do the job they need to be "fired" and replaced. I know I wouldn't last long in my job with poor service. JMHO

Last month I was at Bleakeley Rv outside Atlanta...they had boogie men cut the fence and break into 15 high end new coaches..like Monaco Signatures,etc...the damage they do uninstalling ceiling mounted tvs and nav systems is unbelievable...it looked like a bomb went off in the front end..

Well first post on this site... This situation happened to us, however it was a couple weeks before we closed the deal on our TT. A group of people broke into I think they said 60 +/- RV's at the dealership in Northwest Indiana we purchased our TT from. The TT we purchased got broken into and took our TV, but it wasnt forced entry, they had a master key and unplugged it cleanly. So the dealership replaced the tv and we were good to go! So I hope thats the last time our TT has unwelcomed visitors in it!
