We keep all vehicles, including the camper, locked whenever we are not using them due to the same insurance reasons as previously listed.

Absolutely. And I attach a hitch pin lock. We keep our 5'er directly beside the house on the RV drive.

Here's an idea. Fake TV. Looks like your watching TV so a crook will move on. Runs from an AC adapter so that means it actually is a DC unit and could run from batteries if needed.

When it is stored, it is locked and inside a locked, CCTV monitored storage.
When out with it we lock it whenever we leave it.
And yes we realize that locks only keep out the honest people, but at least the insurance can see we tried. We also keep a list of everything of value incluing serial numbers and what we paid for it so we can get it replaced if necessary.

Our TT sits in the driveway and it's locked. With way our house is set up with the driveway on the left (as you look at the house), we can't see the door to the TT. But there is a nice flood light on that side. We don't keep anything of real value in it but the thieves won't find that out until they're already inside.

Yes, house and trailer and vehicles. Unless we are sitting in our 'yard'. And, yes the locks only slow up the pros. As others said, insurance is also a factor.
I've known many people who would leave their houses open. All of them suffered burglaries and now keep houses locked. And, insurance would not reimburse.
If you want to see a pro at work, lock your keys in your car and call a locksmith. Last time I watched one work took him less than 15 seconds to pick the lock. A good lesson in how little a lock means to a pro.
Just an aside. I did have a convertible sports car at one time. I never locked the doors on it. The stuff inside the car was less expensive than the convertible top. Insurance co agreed when I asked them. I also never left much of anything in the car either, tissues, sodas, gum, etc.

We lock it! I trust most people in our area, but just as a precaution. When we are camping, it gets locked if we leave the campground.

If the mh is in our sight, it might be unlocked. You cannot be too careful, these days.
