Jim&Peg are on track. It is probably hidden somewhere inside the TT, most likely near the water heater. On my trailer I have to remove a screwed on panel behind the toilet to get to it.
Well I am at a loss. I spoke to the original owners who we purchased it from and they have never done anything with the hot water heater in terms of opening or closing valves during winterization. They say they have no idea what to do. Any help would be great... Thanks in advance.
I would take apart whatever is necessary to see all sides of the tank. Mine is located under the stove. There is a panel there I have to remove to access the front of the tank, and the valves are right there. If you see all sides of the tank, trace the lines. That's all I can think of.

i had a skyline Layton model. Open the outside compartment where the hot water heater/furnace is. You will see the relief valve. On that unit there is a flat white plug. You will need some kind of ratchet to open up that plug. This is where you would drain and or flush the hot water heater. Hope this helps.
Denny, are you talking about the bypass valve for winterizing? If so, remember not all water heaters have those. In my '95 Layton, the WH was located under the dinette bench seat. The valve was right there behind the water heater. I would guess that if it is not next to the water heater it does not have.....only because I've never seen them located away from the WH.

With a 3/4 ton truck, like yours, you don't need an anti sway bar.
I tow a 19 foot trailer with a 1/2 ton Silverado. It has been stable
in the mountains, in the desert, in the wind etc. This heavy
truck holds this little trailer easily.
When you say you are looking for the valve what are you trying to do? Is water not going into the heater or not coming out of it or are you trying to drain it? If the previous owners didn't know about a valve, and, we assume they used the water heater, chances are there are no by-pass valves, which are used for winterizing. Even if there are, obviously, they never used them so they should be in the on position. We need to know what you are trying to do or what the heater is not doing to be more helpful? If your TT is set up right, tongue weight etc. you might get by without the sway bar but why would you want to? Anti sway is always a good idea. Difficult to know what you have or don't have for the sway bar without seeing it. If you have the connecting balls then it's just a matter of cranking it tight enough so you don't get sway.
Open the pop-off to see if there is water in the hot water tank. Drain it (through the plug at the bottom of the tank. apply water in on the city connection, {hose connection}get water out of a spigot. open the pop-of again or don't replace the drain plug..got water running in? cold water is coming in...Close the tank up (plug and pop-off).lite the tank, wait 10 mins, and run the nearest hot water spigot. If you have hot water enjoy your trip. Then when you get back we can deal with winterizing, you have all season before that.
