The bed in our 5'er is extremely comfortable - especially after we put a 4" Memory Foam on top of the mattress. You will NEVER regret that move - and don't get rid of the cheap mattress - it doesn't matter with the memory foam - Overstock.com and they're cheap.

We removed the recliner that came with the 5'er and also the table and 4 chairs - very heavy and replaced them with 2 lazy boy recliners - they fit through the door opened out and also by taking the back off. 1 we could get the back off and the other we couldn't - and they're identical. Our couch is very comfortable and is a hide a bed which we need when company comes. For eating we have tv trays, but don't even need them - we each have a side table by our recliner and just move it in front of our chair. We LOVE IT. A ton more room and more comfort. Go for it!

I replaced my hide-a-bed couch with a love seat with a recliner on each side. I was able to stand them on end to get the old one out and the new one in. It was one of the best mods I have done to our TT.

We replaced a couch and a recliner with Lazy Boy furniture. Take a measuring tape and verify the new firniture will fit where you want it, and also thru the door. Mine has a wider door so it was no problem, but the dealer will take out a window for you to replace the furniture.

Our door is standard size and Lazy Boys fit - if nothing else, open them up all the way and put them in.

It's interesting to me that so many mention the Lazy-Boy brand in particular. Does this mean that the Lazy Boy products are best for RV use, or that people use it as a synonym for a recliner?
