Just got back from the carnival, which is only about a mile down the road. I hate carnivals. Germ-infested. Went through a TON of Purell.

DD joined us this evening, for the weekend. Wish EVERYone were here. Going to be a nice weekend. Yesterday, I was able to find a parking spot on Main Street. Different story tonite. The Summer tourist season has begun.

Hey all, hope Dave and Ris won big $$!

Steve, did you see one of the main stories on MSN.com this morning...worlds strangest architecture and office buildings...there stood the infamous 'basket office building!" I WAS THERE!!

Hope all are enjoying the weekend!

Slept in this morning. Some friends (who live out here), stopped out last night to enjoy the campfire. We had a decent fireworks show at 10:00 from the carnival just down the road.

Donna made us pancakes this morning. Mmmmmm.

Steaming lobsters tonite, for dinner. New potatoes. The only thing that will be missing will be local corn. Way too early. It's coming out of the ground though. Stopped at friends farm yesterday and took a look. July 6th is the ETA for the first round.

Congrats to Donny Lia for his first win in the NCTS yesterday out in Mansfield, Ohio. My friends Dad spotted for him last year in the tour series.

Charlotte tonite! 600 laps!

Great, warm, sunny weather today. Hope it's the same wherever you are.
