but i think i'm gonna perform a career change no more cars
i'm actually looking into working with a friend of mine doing burgular and fire alarm installs and service better money and i'll be clean 99% of the time
sometimes things happen for a reason i've really been finding this out the past few months

Eric - Good luck with your career change. I did it some years ago, and from salary to commission only, but it was one of the best things I ever did! Go with your gut instinct, and just do something you enjoy, so it doesn't feel like "work". Things happen for a reason, they say.

Good for you, Chris! You know....Giants camp opens around the same time in Albany. But...I'm a Cowboys fan so I won't be there.

Donna has wanted to go to Normandy Farms since we began RV'ing in 2002. Some day.
Jim, normally I highly recommend them, however after what took place this week, I won't any longer. They have a month in advance that you have to cancel if you need to and if not, they will not do anything for you other than try to rent out your site.As you know, I have a problem with my inverter/ charger and finally got the part late yesterday. We called last week within the 72 hour normal policy for some other places and asked if we not cancel, but use the deposit(300.00) at some other time even at the end of the season. No can do.My wife asked what if we had a death in the family, Sorry, no refunds. This place has been around a long time and they do a lot of charity work , so I'm suprised at the stiff no refund rules.I don't dispute that my wife wasn't informed of the 30 day rule and had she told me before booking, I would not have booked again.Maybe someone will see this and they will reconsider. As you know, stuff happens and 30 days is a long time in my opinion, but I'm only a customer.Do you think I'm wrong? Don't worry, no hard feelings if so.

Thanks Jim!
Tony is driving his mother (88) and an aide down to FL as we speak. Doctor says no more flying for her - We shipped out Tony's father yesterday and he's with their aide down there, waiting on mama to get there. Hectic times!

Jerry...It's one of the reasons we're not going back to Drummer Boy. I'm not paying in advance. Fort Wilderness and Turning Stone, two of the nicest campgrounds in the country, don't have that policy.

It's their campground, and they can have whatever rules they like, but I won't be paying anyone in full for the reason you have an issue.

Life happens, and I don't want to add "gambling" the cost of my stay to the other aspects of my trip.

Sorry it happened.

Maria...Wow. Long drive. Glad they seem to be better though! I remember the health issue when they arrived.

Joy, the Ohio rally last weekend was at Bulltown Campground in West Va. Not only is there no computer service, they don't even have cell service!!! If you REALLY want to make a cell call (and I mean REALLY), you can walk from your campsite clear up to the top of a mountain, and then from there you climb halfway up the next mountain, and then you MIGHT get a semi-reliable signal. It really is hilarious in a way, as you climb up the trail there are people all along the way, standing there with out-stretched arms, holding their cellphones up, hoping for..............a lightning strike, or "more bars"!! Doesn't matter what service you have, they all suck there. I got notified of a voice mail on Friday so climbed the mountains to get the message. Spent over an hour on the phone with work. Walked back down, and got another voice mail at the bottom. Yup!! Back up the mountains. Did it once again on Saturday. One text along the way was from my son. He told me I needed a higher mountain!! Last year I had a cell amplifier and could get a signal from my RV. This year I have a brand new Crackberry. Guess what??? No external antenna jack on my berry!!! Amplifier: useless!!! Actually, aren't cell phones, in total, useless??? If they are really that great, how did we ever get by without them in the past???

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?"...and then it hits me!!!!
