The only Dix I ever heard of was a Fort. What is a Semi-Nole?

Jim, (from Wikepedia):

Nole (Pronounced "Nolay") is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 25 km northwest of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,447 and an area of 11.3 km².

Nole borders the following municipalities: Corio, Rocca Canavese, Grosso, San Carlo Canavese, Villanova Canavese, Cirié, Fiano, and Robassomero.

So, I guess a "semi-nole" would be someone who is only partially from Nole. Can't think of a single other definition!!

Larry....The Seminole Indians, are a proud part of Florida's rich history. Their relationship with Florida State University is heralded throughout the NCAA. The Seminole Tribe of Florida petitioned the NCAA to allow the State University to continue to use the Seminoles as their mascot. They are proud of their affiliation with the university.

What the heck's a buckeye, anyway?

Is that Fred saying gimme a buck, aye?

Jim......A buckeye is a worthless nut. We had them on our property in Ohio and you can't use them for anything. NOW the chocolate and peanut butter concoction that are called buckeyes are really good.

Don't start!! We can always get back into the discussion of "what is a NOLE", or even a "semi-nole!!!!

Glad to be educated, now if we could just figure out a "Hokie".
Does a semi-nole have 18 wheels?
