Guess I will be heading up to bed. I'm plum-tuckered. On second thought....I DID TiVo todays race. Maybe I'll watch the last 38 laps.
Jerry will be pleased to hear that I accomplished absolutely NOTHING on my RV To-Do List this weekend! My reputation is in tact.
Can't keep me eyes open but I have to get the mutt to get a haircut. The heat is killing him.He can't make it around the complex without stopping 10 times. Just like Big Brown!!

Larry....That is a favorite picture of mine too. The Roses were given to Kristy from Pam (Kristys best friend who passed aways mom)the night before. She was too upset to come see her the day of prom and we promised to take pictures for her with the Roses she gave her.
Heat wave here still...The high school has had shortened days as the one school Kristy goes to doesn't have AC..She is happy as she will be home by 10:30 am.
Everyone stay cool.
Nice pictures Dave and Ris. My daughter goes next year. Can't believe how fast it went. So sorry about your daughter's friend. I remember when you wrote about her and the prom and graduation time will be especially hard for them and we will keep them in our prayers.
Jerry...I still say the fix was in, with Big Brown. Your dog is as big as a horse! Hey to the family!
Jill...Too darned fast!
Ris...Thanks! Mikey's doing well too.

MWR in trouble? been hearing that there might be trouble over at Michael Waltrip Racing. It seems that they are laying people off, telling them that it is because of financial issues. The team currently fields three Sprint Cup cars, the #00, the #44 and the #55, and one Nationwide Series car, the #99. This year Waltrip brought on a partner, Robert Kauffman, after suffering huge losses on renovations for his Cornelius, NC race shop and a bad 2007 season. Primary sponsor UPS is also pulling out of the team at the end of this season.(NASCAR Insiders, a site that claims to be two NASCAR insiders, including a crew member and journalist)(6-9-2008) Comment here

Jim, that was this weekend,, went to the Beach (Seashore State Park) friday early afternoon, and returned home Monday afternoon. Unloaded, then took the 5'er to the dealership for a few minor problems to be fixed. Should be ready for teh weeklong trip for 4th of July week. Noticed a lot of empty spaces at the campground, must be due to the fuel prices.
