We're packing the trailer and taking off for the weekend--a big 50 miles for an Oregon Hunters work weekend on the Williamette National Forest near Detroit Lake. I've worked myself into the ground since the rally so it will be good to get away from the house and do nothing--Dave works, I loaf--and try and get the notes from the rally done for Donna! I'll catch up with everyone and all the chatter on Sunday night. Have a good weekend!

rvlady,
Tell Dave to get a very big bull all staked out for the hunt next fall. We need some of his good Elk sausage at the Rally next year.
When I was a young boy I lived in Sweet Home till I was 16, fished all over the North and South Santiam. Had a Bear tear up our camp on the North Santiam river, that bear bit into a can of tomatoes, my buddy and I got the heck out of there and went home.

Well,it looks as i'm gonna have to bail on the lunch deal..Got some extra stuff to do in the yard and can't get out of it..This is just a bit more than honey-dooo..

Got the word back today on my knee.. Went in the other day and she said that it was a bad sprain, but that they were still looking into it and now it seems that I've joined the old guys club.. I have Osteoarthritis of the knee and that's the reason for the pain at the Rally and the knee swelling up..Probably the same as several of you older guys have too...

Bigdog can't be referring to me as there is nothing wrong with my knees.
It seem to be you (older younger) guys.

I think if Hobo is the oldest and Ryan the youngest in the group, that should put Mopargo, Grousehunter, Tradewinds and Bigdog in the "middle aged" category.

If that were only true. You can't be middle aged and collect social security now, can ya?

Hobo, I have been thinking and I was wrong to correct you. You were right, we are the older/young guys not the younger/old guys. sorry....
