Laura, Tom, those eggs we got from you are fantastic, what a difference over the ones in the stores. How has the crabbing been going, I have been thinking about that ever since we had lunch and talked about it?

The crabbing was good. We got three big male red crabs and a few starfish (but we threw those back).

Well, got the top of the deck painted today, looks pretty good. Seems like it took me a long time, but I only work a few hours a day. Saturday we are having the ceilings painted in the house. All I wanted to do was paint the dam ceiling. So she had to take down the drapes, now she wants new drapes. Then she was looking around and she said I think we need new living room furniture. One of these days I'm going to learn too keep my month shut.
Bob (Tradewinds) You better be very very careful what you say about our girl Sue. Just a friendly warning.
Bob (Tradewinds) You are so right about those fresh eggs. You really can't compare them to a store egg.
I talked to Chuck (Mopargo) the other day and he is going to have a operation on his feet sometime soon. So he will be layed up for a few weeks. Other then that him and Mary are staying around the place.
Sure is a nice day here in Tacoma, Washington.

Don't you just love to paint, hobo?! I've been at it, off and on, since May. I'm not very fast either--but I get the job done. Have both bathrooms finished, the laundry room done but have the monster wall to do yet. It is 26' long--in the combination kitchen/dining room. Have the other walls done in that room. Will enlist Dave's help on this one! got new vinyl down in the rooms I just mentioned and new formica, sinks, and faucets in the same rooms. Tile backsplashes go on Monday, and the laminate floors in our big living room and four bedrooms the next week.

Laura, do you have a link to that trailer wreck you posted? Can't find it with the info available on it.

Here is another horror story with an RV, posted on our Northwood Owners forum. Guess it is all over the net--on one site it said the people got out the passenger door. One member commented "Now that he has a diesel he doesn't even know his trailer is back there."

No, I found the picture on Failblog.org and thought it was a timely reminder. I found a video clip of another fifth wheeler who tried to tow underneath a drive-up bank canopy thing. He ended up tearing his bedroom off and crushing his truck under the falling canopy. If it hadn't been so horrific, it would have been comical. I mean, what WAS he thinking?

I wanna go camping bad this weekend but can't because I had gum surgery this past Wednesday and look like I'm packing golfballs in one cheek. My endodontist said that he thought it was a bad idea to go camping this weekend because it is too soon after the surgery and I could rupture my stitches. But I WANNA GO!!!! Wah!

We hung up a new porch swing today and got our hammocks out under the trees by the creek so those will have to be my consolation prizes for not getting to go camp.

Edited to add that I looked at Linda's video clip there and it is the same one I saw.

We just got back from a 22 mile bike ride. Took the John Wayne trail up to Keechelus Lake, at lunch and came back. We saw an owl along the trail on the way back. Nikki got pictures, but they're still in the camera, I think. We'll get them out later. We're exhausted now.

Well,we're home and I'm all ready to go again.. I don't like this at home stuff as I've got too many places to go.. It was a rough 46 miles home from Rest-a-while along the canal and then into Bummertown.. As we got almost home there was an accident and it had the freeway closed at Kitsap Way and hiway 3.. Don't know what happened, but there was a little red car that had it's nose all over the road and a smaller SUV of some kind, upside down in the median...Everybody was gone ,firetrucks and ambulances, and they were just getting the red car off the roadway and the staters were just setting up their measuring stuff,so it's possible it will be a fatal..The car is ALL unloaded and will be going into the dealer for a LOF and a MAJOR cleaning. I figgered that since it's never been done since I got it,that I'd get it detailed and I'm also gonna ask the dealer in La Grande to fax a copy of the bill and the technicians worksheet to them 'cuz I know there's at least one and mebbee two more injectors out..
Next time out is the mini and then probably a trip to the beach before school starts..

Welcome back Bigdog, it must be close to coffee time for us. Still sitting up at the rest stop, we have to keep it open till 2AM Monday morning. Its been a good money maker for Dogs For the Deaf and people have been quite nice, no porblems this year.

Today is the 13th that means only 18 more days until we name the next volunteer to provide entertainment at the next rally in Toppenish. I do appreciate everyone jumping in to volunteer. What a group of great people.

Seven weeks left of our contract at Boeing Kent. Then three weeks to travel to Minnesota, spend time with daughter and her husband, then travel to next assignment (hopefully). Planning to find work somewhere between Austin TX and California so we can be warmer and drier this winter.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm sounds like John and Nikki might not be here next year for the rally, maybe I should pull their name out of the hat for entertainment even though they volunteered.
