Congrats Rodger & Tere. They're so cute when they're little, but then they grow up and get cuter and get in more trouble and cost you more money and...and...and...well, you know.
Hmm, let's see, I should be on Social Security by the time I get any great grandkids. That is if Social Security is still around by then. Well, I hope I'm retired by then at least.
Bigdog, just have those school bus kids of yours teach you a little math. June/July/August minus 9 months is what? COLD!
Congradulations on your new great granddaughter !!!!!!!!! Yas Jon it is cool and we have had a population expolsion on the forum, but it is great! Well I'm back in seattle, so glad to be back. so whats up with you all? Donna
Rodger and Terri, great grandkids! Wow, you must be old . We're still waiting for our first grandkid. Anyway, congratulations.
We're into the final countdown until we leave this weekend. Friday's my last day here on this contract. Saturday we leave for Kennewick, to stay with Nikki's Mom for the holiday weekend. Then Tuesday leave for Minneapolis MN to see our daughter and son-in-law for a while. In the meantime I'll be looking for that next gig in California, Arizona or Austin Texas. (warm dry places). Hopefully we'll be back by May, but that's not assured by any means.
We pick up The Admiral from the shop on Thursday afternoon.
Roger & Terri, congs on a great granddaughter! Sounds great, we have to wait, hopefully for a number of years, for a great grandchild!! Our oldest granddaughter is 15 1/2 and will be a sophmore this year. The problem is she is absolutely gorgous, but our son-in-law is a hunter, so has his supplies of weapons handy!!
We had granddaughter #3 with us down at Long Beach for the kite festival. Our daughter-in-laws parents are very active kiters and we had a great time. The weather was absolutely great on Friday and Sat. but poured rain on Sunday. Rained everything out and the beach was basically empty by 11! Holed up in the rig and came back Monday.
Because of the health of Carolyn's 95 year old mother, we are putting our fulltiming on the back burner for now. She doesn't want to be caught across the crountry if anything happens. We will start moving into Carolyn's little house that she has been using as a rental for the past number of years this next weekend. It will be strange not planning our next area of travel, but still have the "to visit" list handy!
I will have to review my owners manuel for winterizing the rig! Will be searching out a place here in the Federal Way area to store the rig and yet have it handy for long weekend getaways. We will probably join the gang over in Yakima in May so we don't miss out on any good wine tasting. You guys may drink it all if we don't get there!!

DavidG,
Thank you for the offer, I may have to take you up on that deal. This morning I called the factory and talked to them about why the bars would crack like they did. They told me they have never had a set do this, and that the bars have a life time guarantee. They would like to see a picture of the break and then they would send me a new set of bars. In case this is not so, I will be coming your way.
Hobo
Roger and Teri, congrats on that good looking new greatgrand child.
Hobo, Roadmaster sent me new parts when I had problems and I am sure you will get new bars also. I sent that info last night but I see it never got to the forum. They paid shipping for the new parts and for the old ones to go back to them.
Ron, I know all about that rain, we were at Westport with 15 rigs from our GoodSam group and we were all starting to unhook from the park services and leave when the rain hit. Everyone was soaked to the skin before we got on the road. We took two of our granddaughters 8 and 11 down and they had a great time pulling crab traps, playing on the beach etc. Sorry to hear that you and Carolyn have to get off the road for a bit but I know you will make many weekend trips. We will see you in Toppenish for sure.
John, Nikki you two drive safely on your trip to visit family. Let us know where you end up, we may be able to visit if you are in the Arizona area this winter.
Hobo, going to miss you in Yuma this year. How can we have an official GoodSam and Forum Yuma meeting without you and Holly.

Naw,it's not gonna be cold when the grandson is born.. They live in Lihue,Kuaui and she's leaving in January....
On the subject of wine tasting,I think, after looking at tour rates, that I'm gonna see if I can get some of them to come to us.. From the looks of my wine cellar,I'm gonna have to go to Newhalem Bay SP in Oregon over MLK's B'day in January for a reload...Who's game for that. I'll probably take a couple of extra days for that trip..
Sounds good Jon, but in January? Do you remember how cold is was last time we were down there and how worried we were about the road being icy on the way home? I'd be game for March or April, but January, we'll have to wait and see.
