I don't think that losing Locker was too bad of a thing 'cuz I think that this new guy is pretty good and he's more than 1 dimensional and so they can't key on him. Once the "O" line gets better and can protect him better,I think they'll do better. Also,I haver heard that they pulled the redshirt off of another freshman q'back that's s'posed to be good also..
The poor Cougars are about out of players, but some of the ones still there are actually getting better and mebbee, just mebbee,we'll be ready to beat the puppies in the Apple Cup..In fact,I'm sure of it..(Man,isn't that a real Cougar fan comment)

We just got back from a real nice weekend with HanknLinda up at the Mount Vernon Thousand Trails. It was so nice out this morning, we ate breakfast out on the picnic table. Love it when the weather is this nice around here. Gonna push our luck and hope for another nice weekend to geo further north to Birch Bay next weekend.
Too bad about the Cougars, they really got a whipping.
Yeah, the weather's great so we went for a bit of a ride in the Mustang, but I couldn't talk Jeanne into putting the top down..Durn..
Next door neighbor's oldest son was at her house in his wife's V12 Mercedes CL600,or something like that, and he was showing me all the things wrong with it.It's about 8-9 years old and the paint is looking bad,the left door window isn't working right,$900 fix,the seats are showing a lot of wear and the controls don't always work, the shocks are gone and they are $2500@,it needs a new rear deck as the paint is bad also a new rear plastic bumper for the same reason..piece of junk.
David,I just noticed in your sig that it looks as if your TT is a bit nose high..I have been having a bit of trouble with mine sitting right and and think I may have to re-measure it and possibly change the ball height.I would love to be able to use my pull-out rear bike rack, but it still drags on driveways, etc.I know that nose high pushes down on the front of the TV and nose down lifts the nose.I've got about 1150# tongue weight and two 30# bikes on the rear rack takes about 100#,or so,off the nose.I think I'll pull it out and find a level spot to re-measure it on and then try again before we go out the weekend of the 10-12 of Oct.

We joined Happy Camper while in Minnesota, as it looked like we could take advantage of it on the remainder of the trip. First park didn't take it, even though the Happy Camper website said it did. The second park was closed, which was probably a good thing, as it didn't look very good. Since then we've stuck with Good Sam parks, as we had with the first half the journey, with good success so far. The first time any issue came up was here in Flagstaff, we found this park that no longer takes Good Sam, we suspect they fell below the Good Sam quality standards, although they aren't that bad for an overnight.

Now wait a minute. You got a convertible, it's nice weather and Jeanne doesn't want to put the top down??? Then what's the point!!!??? Geez Jon. Laura has an '04 Mustang convertible and puts the top down almost every time she drives it, except if it's raining or just up to the store and back. She said when she bought it 3 years ago that that's what she'd do, and she's pretty much stuck to it.
This is the car that she inherited from her late brother and it's an '88 GT 5.0L with less than 15K on it.The oil is still clear when you pull the dipstick.. He may have been putting synthetic or Slick50 in it.. I know that he was putting it in the 454 chevy crusaders in his Trojan International 10 meter and never had any trouble with the engine except for the water jackets.
Wow, that's pretty low miles for an '88. Next time ya take Jeanne for a ride in it, tell her you have to exercise the motor for the top or it might freeze up. "But honey, it's been years since the top has been down. Come on, please?"
Took the 63 Olds convert out on Sunday and had a nice drive and probaby about the last of the year as I will be putting it away for the winter soon. The 64 Batmobile will probably stay on the road for another month and then it will get put away. I never put the top up on the Bat as it just looks too good with he top down and that fiberglass tonneau on the back. Now the bike I will ride until the ice hits the road. Welded in the new floorboards and quarter panels on the jeep last week and its looking better and better that I will be towing it to Yuma and a good paint job in Mexico.
Not many new people for the rally yet. Hope some of our lurkers get signed up and come on over. We may need to recuit some new dancers this year. ONLY a couple days until we announce our newest volunteers for the Saturday night entertainment.
