Yeah, but Tradewinds, you're assuming that Bigdog will be able to remember where he went, what he had and how good it was (or not) so he can tell us. That is if he can find his way back after all that drinking before we've all left.

Who cares whether we get back, right Ron???As long as the wine's good and we can see to walk,or crawl...
You've got to remember that wine is one of the ways that God tells us that He loves us.. Of course he also made beer and things like that too.Man does He ever love us..(of course till he made Thunderbird wine)

No Jon, He didn't "give" us the wine...He just gave us the brains to figure out how to make it. But He did tell us how to use it to remember Him.

Oh, now I know why you like going to church so much!

Bigdog,

I got an IDEA!!

What about people splitting up into 5 or 6 groups of 5 or 6 to a car. Each car goes to 4 or 5 specific wineries, each car/group having different wineries. If they find something good that they like and would like to share with the group, bring that back for a "groupie taste" some evening!!

I find that after that 4 or 5 wineries, I've lost all ability to taste! It just becomes drinking then!! Oh, that's the point!!

What do you think about that?

I thought there were several outfits in Yakima that did tours.

Take care

Why not rent a 14 passenger van, Have one of us old guys that don't drink wine drive you around. There is lots of winery's close to the park. Even if you had to rent two vans it would be cheaper that going on a tour at $75.00 apiece. You or some one could lay out a plan and go to the winery's that you would like to go to. Make a map off the computer and away you go for a very good time. You could call the winery and let them know the day and time you would be there, even call the day you leave and let them know you all are coming. For what some of you people spend they would love to be waiting for you at the door.

Good Grief Hobo,I guess that getting older does make you smarter than the average bear. The big problem is making sure that we can find someoen in the group that doesn't drink..That leaves me and Ron out.
Ok will try that route and see if there are any places with a couple of vans to rent..

Now,I am going to be heading out for a four weekend over the Halooween weekend and I wuz kinda hoping to head up towards Bellingham.. Is there somewhere's up there to stay that's really nice??I mean with the trailer..

Well, if you'd got that KM membership, Beachwood is real nice. The state park is just the other side of the fence from there, but I'm not sure if they'll like your loooong trailer.
