Well we finally received our rockwood in february. We placed our order in Oct. When I found out they now made the 2701ss with a entertainment wall I call RVDirect and asked if I could have mine made without the wall and it was added to our order. Well when the trailer was finished I had pictures sent to me and the wall was there. Forest River offered to make another and so we decided to wait. Our new trailer was finished in Feb and this time was made without the wall. I doubt this is a option they advertise but if you want one without the wall just ask and see what happens. I really wanted the cream cabinets and stainless package and no entertainment wall at the foot of the bed so we decided it was worth the wait, it would be sitting in storage either way.
We love our 2701SS with cream and stainless steel. We have the early '08 which was still 7.5 feet wide, without the entertainment centre and we're glad we don't have it. Keeps everything nice and open. Be sure to post some pics!
