BiggAL wrote: NONE of the BBB rating of WW or anything else for that matter means a thing to me. Particularly when you look at the BBB page for that company and see the comments. So I guess the question is who is complaining and why. I have no issues whatsoever with WW and find it in very poor taste that MCrankyPants or whoever he is, finds it necessary to come in here to share his grievances rather than with WW only, or through his Attorney. Perhaps one could judge his demeanor by his screenname. If someone has a problem with WW, take it up with them and don't buy from them again. We're not going to solve your business issue with them in this forum. As you can see, the vast majority of owners are very satisfied with their product. No business will ever be able to please everybody and there will always be somebody getting their panties in a wad over something. Seems that the way those types prefer to deal with their own issues is to try to make it everybody else's problem too.
From the BBB website: (Note the comment in Red which are the BBB's own words, so how can they rate an "F" with that description and the lack of listed complaints)

I disagree. I want people to post the bad and good points about ANY dealer/manufacturer. It is these post that allow us consumers to make an intelligent decision about a particular make/model.
When I was in the market for a toy hauler and never owned one, a lot of info I found here steered me away from WW from day one. I also learned ALL TH's had problems, but it seemed WW had the most with the worst customer relations.
Sorry if you protest me sharing my opinion biggal, my name's Michael...I'm just trying to put the info out there for anyone considering a Warrior purchase.
I have an '04 that I've been pretty happy with overall.
I know there are always going to be problems with any coach, and I am mechanically inclined, and have done many repairs myself.
Again...check my join date, and all of the positive posts about my trailer, it's not rocket science, click my username and go to the start of my post history.
I'm having some pretty big structural problems with my trailer that WW has been absolutely uncooperative about, so it's on me.
They now have a "lifetime" warranty on the frame, but believe me, their defination and yours (ours) could be radically different.
My dealer is being awesome about getting my problem fixed, and their service dept. doesn't have the best reputation, but when all is said and done, I'll post all of the details on how incredibly We're being treated by a couple of individuals.
I was told by someone who's been in the RV service dept. for a very long time that Warrior trailers don't have a lot of various problems, but a few major structural problems over and over and not just with the recent Superlite frame issues.
He has a VERY low opinion on Warriors, and he deals with them daily.
...but, of course, I have no credibility and am just stating my personal opinion, and sharing information from someone that's been in the industry for years, which obviously I'm making up...so ignore everything I say.
I'll post pics of the problem and the fix when this is all said and done.

Just in case your wondering how many units WW sells per year, I found this quote from the WW Sales Manager
"Nationally in 2007, we sold 85 percent more SUT units than our closest competitor and we sold 139 percent more SUTs in California than our closest competitor." Max Villa, Sales Manager, Weekend Warrior
So therefore one can assume they will get 85% nationwide and 139% in Cali; more complaints than the next guy, correct?
Btw, I'm on my second WW and I've never had a major issue with either.

When I shopped for a toyhauler I quickly found that they all seemed to be varations on a theme. Ie they all seemed to have the same components and build quality. They used the same applianceces, flooring, bedding, upholstery, piping, siding, etc. They all used glue, staples and screws to hold them together. Everyone TH brand I looked at needed something - in other words, I don't think I sat in one toy-hauler and didn't point out to the salesman a missing handle, trim piece, gouge in the floor, or other minor defect. I think they all are built as quickly and cheaply as possible.
I chose my WW because I liked the setup and the options that came already on the unit. Since I got my WW I haven't had to add anything beyond a couple of hooks (don't get me wrong - I will add more things I just haven't HAD to). My biggest concern when I bought my WW was that the frame issues were no longer issues.
That said I love my WW but I'm not going to e-mail the BBB to tell them in order to offset someone else's bad experience. As for loving my WW in 5 years - well, I hope to, but I'm also rooted in reality. When I camp, it's usually offroad which puts my WW through some rough, bumpty terrain. No matter how slowly I drive, I know that over time there will be problems. So, I'm sure in the next 5 years I will require maintenance. They are, afterall, just cheap boxes on wheels that cost a lot of money.

Sorry if I seemed to come across a bit Brash in my previous post Michael, but your original post seemed as though it was intended to Bash the manufacturer and didn't provide any real insight regarding the problem(s) you are having with your trailer. Perhaps a description of the problem would be helpful to any WW owner in determining and relating any similar problems with their rigs or helping a potential buyer in determining whether or not to purchase a WW trailer. I have had some issues with my trailer but since I prefer the "do it yourself" method and hold true to the concept that "if you want it done right, do it yourself", I would have liked to know what sort of problem you are experiencing so I can see if it relates to any problems I've had in the past.
Whatever they are, good luck resolving your issues and please keep us posted as you advance through the process of addressing your grievances with WW.
Very interesting thread. The BBB has been around for years. The people on here that have WW's and have had no problems, are saying the BBB means nothing in this world. The ones that are having issues are touting the BBB. IMHO it's like the police. If you are doing something illegal, you don't want the police around, but if your house gets robbed.............
Bottom line is, if you want to do away with the whole thing and not have to worry about WW's......buy an Attitude! LMAO!!
I prefer the do-it-yourself method too.
My problem involves the frame strength in the cab-over part of the fifth-wheel.
Apparently, if you put any kind of miles on your rig, there is a big chance of it flexing enough to casuse glue seperation in the walls that start at the flex area and just work their way back, sometimes so much as to have the outside wall develop cracks.
This is what happened to me.
A service person told me that this is not necessarily common, but not unusual in WW's.
He works on WW's daily and has a very low opinion on their structural integrity and build quality as far as that goes as well.
I'm having the frame strengthened in the cab-over area, and the wall crack fixed.
When it's done I'll post before and afters.
My husband and I are friends with a guy that WAS the Quality Control/ Parts Dept Manager for WW. Notice, I said was. that is because he was no longer allowed to perform QC on a unit prior to completion - that would hold up production. All QC was done after the fact and only if the dealer pointed something out or it came back by the customer for warranty work. That being said, we own an 04 WW FS3000 and have been EXTREMELY happy with it in the year that we have had it. We did buy it used (but barely) and have been told that we are lucky to have the 04 since that was the last year WW used the one piece zieman chassis to build on. and trust me, we are not gentle with it. we drive it down what is probably the "worst dirt road in So Cal" several times a year in order to race. Those conditions will weaken any trailer structurally - no matter how careful you are. They are called TH but NO trailer is designed to handle the type of off road driving we do. they are just not built for that. We are lucky, my husband is an RV mechanic and has been for the last 12 years. so I know if I have any issues I know where I can turn to for help.
