I just talked to Pat over at Cherokee Rv Park. They are 3 miles up the road from Unicoi. They would be happy to have anyone that can't get a site in Unicoi. This is a very nice park that we stayed in last summer. They are in the process of redoing their website but I found a link to a park review that has their info on it. Don't let this discourage you from attending the rally. You will still be close enough to Unicoi for meals and activities and you will be able to have your own gatherings over there. If others book here we will be visiting both parks. We really want to meet all of the newer people in the group. Here is the link to Cherokee Rv Park.

Gosh!! Kim and I are trying to make a reservation-only 30' available. Don't know if we can fit? Any suggestions?

How long is your rig? You can always book the 30' and keep checking back for cancellations and swap it.

I just sent you a PM.
I booked a 40' site but then remembered taht I will be out of town that weekend.
We can see if the park will refund my $$ and transfer my site to you.
Let me know if you don't want it and we can see if someone else does. I won't cancel the reservation just yet.

Happy Camping,
Michelle

Hey gang! Sandra and I have decided to sit this one out, as we usually don't do any camping during the summer months (too HOT), but we will look forward to a fall rally, especially since next Friday, May 30th, is the day that I will get up from my desk at work, turn out the lights, and pull the door shut behind me for the LAST TIME!!!! Retirement has finally arrived! They made me an offer I just couldn't refuse. It has been a good ride (43 years), but it is time to get off the bus!! Hope to catch up with all of you at the fall rally, if not before. Have fun, and stay safe!!!!!

We are gonna check our schedules and see if this will work for us, but we would have to stay at the other campground unless they have any cancellations for some larger sites. Our camper is 38 feet long! We would love to come, we had such a good time in February at Twin Oaks.

Hope to see ya'll there.

Congratulations to EC on your retirement!! We can say that we are jealous of such a well-deserved accomplishment.
On the other hand, Sandra if EC starts telling you how to do your chores (that you have done without his help for years) just let him take over, and you can come hang out with us till he gets done.
EC this gives you extra time to perfect your trips to the gray water dump stations.
We will miss you all at the summer rally.

Is there such a thing as a grey water dump station in Las Vegas? Thinking about flying out there to find out. Question is, "will Sandra believe that is my only reason for going?"
