Do you have to unload your ATV to sleep for the night?
Someone told me that it was dangerous - seems like a lot of trouble to unload your ATV especially if you are spending the night in a Walmart parking lot.

Someone is paranoid !
Insure no leaks, and have a vent or two open, good to sleep.

If you can't smell it, it's fine to sleep with.
Did really I just say that?

Open a window or roof vent for ventilation.

The someone who told you that is going to follow you and steal your ATV. LOL!
Just kidding.
Does your TH have a separate garage or no? If not, I would be uneasy about it and open ALL the windows. LOL! But the "If you can't smell it" theory works for me too.

I have no garage in my TH and sometimes we sleep over at a Flying J for 5 or 6 hours. I leave the ATV's in there and have no problem with fuel odors. But like someone said, if you smell some fuel, just open the vent by the floor and let it ventilate. Happy Trails.

Gas is heavier than air, so you would want to open the lower "vent" doors. Since, not all of us can smell fumes the same, then I would at least open one of the vent doors for peace of mind.

My son and I spent a night a few weeks ago on our rear pull-down with three ATV's loaded. No gas fumes to speak of and I did not burn fuel out of the carbs before loading. I didn't crack any windows either since it was very cold out where we were parked. IT all depends on your toys and how bad they leak fuel/oil...
