Wow, two pages of accurate gas mileage, that's got to be a record for RV net. I get about 8 towing a CRV, weight about 18000.

The pulling power of mine always amazes me, for such a big coach.

6.5-7 towing a 4300# Explorer
7-7.5 towing a 2000# enclosed trailer

I run very close to the max weight of 20,000 also. (with out the tow)

So, I seem to be in spec with everyone else.

Just for comparison, since nobody has mentioned it yet, 07 Hurricane 34B, Workhorse W-21 chassis, pulling Saturn Vue toad most of the time, mileage averages 8.13 mpg over the past 9,300 miles and 162 hours of generator time.

We have a 35' Georgie Boy towing a 2001 Tracker. Mileage varies from 7 to 9
depending on speed, weather, terrain. When someone asks me what kind of
mileage I get, my canned answer is: "I didn't buy it for gas mileage"
Have fun!

Ah yes, forgot about this little detail We usually run the genset for the roof air in the warmer weather, which cuts the real mpg down.

I owned a 36' Itasca Sunflyer, Ford V-10, and for the 65,000 miles I drove it the overall average MPG was 7.456. 95% of the miles included towing either a Jeep Cherokee or Honda CRV.

Mike, we usally get 7.0 to 8.0 towing a car. If we are going over mountains like thru Virginia it usually averages out. I usually run between 58 and 62mph.
