How did it get that far out in the lake?
Could it be the momentum and semi floating.

I hope the thief drowned that would have been a good ending to this story.

No because their scum bag family would end up suing the owners! Well I hope they were fully insured.

Wow - what a waste of a nice set up!

If I hadn't read the opening post about it being stolen, I would have really thought this looks more like someone forgetting to set the brake and walking away from their truck/trailer. Theives rarely steal to go for a joy ride and dump their booty. On the other hand, I've heard of some pretty stupid thieves!

It is bad enough to steal it, but to put it in the lake is totally unacceptable.

If the person/s that did this happen to be found, they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

I hope the owners had good insurance and it does not go up now.

Just for clarification - was this the rig of the OP?
EDIT: Okay after checking profiles, it looks like this is NOT the OP's setup.

First Response : How awful and terrible for somebody.

Second Repsonse (the comedian in me can't resist): I wonder if his truck dealer told him it would pull that TT across that lake with no problems

Well, it is just money, and that is what we have insurance for, even though it will be a tough process. At least it wasn't a car-jacking situation where someone got hurt. It is hard to remember at times, but these are just things....
