Sundowner1...better be sure about that...I believe they do...some LT tires also do not have sufficient weight rating to be used on a fifth wheel...especially a heavy one.
Michelins. I just replaced a set that had 36,000 miles on them. Still looked fair but I hate flats and blowouts. Besides our grandkids go with us and I,m not about to risk them. As to the difference between LT and ST tires my tire guy says the difference is in the sidewall construction. Has something to do with the way they flex when turning. He also said if the LT tires are the right load range they will be fine just won't last as long

RETIRED AND LOVIN IT. Wife Joyce three excellent grandkids and a grumpy ol tomcat
Hi: I would buy the tire that is rated to carry the load I intended to put on it. I buy hundreds of tires every year for a fleet that includes everything from automobiles to heavy construction equipment. My favorite brands for cars, light, medium and heavy trucks are Goodyear, Firestone and Bridgestone with no particular preference. They all perform well. Buy a cheap tire and you get a poor performance. For any given brand you can find people who love it and people who hate it since tires are a highly subjective purchase in many if not most cases. Maxxis also has a good reputation but I have had no experience with them. If you want to read some very fine discussions on the different aspect of tires go to www.tirerack.com. If you have a propensity to read for accurate information you will find it there. Good Luck Bill
XPS Ribs, why? Because of this forum and I'm glad I listened, very happy with them. Never had a problem with the coopers that came with the fiver, but much more comfortable with the ribs.
