we just returned from Topsail last Sunday, we try to avoid holiday weekend camping. We will be taking our TT to property we own in Indiana and set up there for a few days. I just put a road in last year so were finally are able to access it with vehicles. It's always nice an quite.

We have gone to the same place for the last three memorial day weekends. Pikes Peak State Park in McGregor, IA on a high bluff overlooking the Mississipi. Beautiful area, even though it is Iowa...

Headed to our campground on Friday after work. I should be sitting back drinking a beer 30 minutes after leaving work.

We stay home, and the kids and friends come out here to camp. We have a beautiful spot on a lake, and put in hook-ups, and there's a lot of room for tents, etc., and we're free and available when the local parks are all booked up months in advance.

Lake George, New York. We'll be there 'till just before the july 4th weekend, then to Vermont & Lake Champlain.

Early Friday afternoon heading to Deep Creek SP in the mountains of Western MD. It's only a 45 minute drive, but the further away from the DC/Balt Metro area, the better. This will be the 3rd trip for the new Roo, and we're getting better each and every time.
No long trips until late August - gotta save some bucks for the big trip, but will take several 1-2 hr trips till then.

Sigh, we will be "urban camping" in our backyard because DH has to work all weekend. Oh well, we'll just get the fire pit going for marshmallows and pretend we're at a campground somewhere. I'm sure the kids will enjoy sleeping in the camper even though it will be in their own backyard, lol.

We are heading "up the river" to some property along the Susquehanna river about an hour from home. Some very good friends own it and keep their 5er on it when they are not traveling. We usually end up there on Memorial Day weekend as well as Labor Day weekend. There's never any crowds to fight there! My signature pics were taken there last year.
