Dealers, like any other business, have to rise or fall on their merits (or lack of).

We are saving $6300 going 1000 miles away to buy. That is alot of Hot Dogs for the kids over a camp fire.

And what dealership do you represent? Your profile is gives very little info....

Other than possibly a lower price why would you not want to buy from your local dealer?

Just so happens that I live 15 minutes away from one of the two lowest priced dealers in the nation on the model I wanted, so I stayed in state. However, I see dealers in other regions selling for 6-7 grand more for the exact same trailer I bought and I certainly understand buying elsewhere. In other regions of the country, 3 and 4 year old used modles with the same options are selling for more than I just bought mine new. Its crazy.

What makes you think he represents a dealer? Dealer's who won't service rvs not purchased at that dealership is a fairly common complaint, even sometimes on the road.

Some areas of the country are more expensive than others and RVs are priced accordingly. The NW is not one of the best places to shop for an RV, IMHO.

because there is not many dealers in our area and the ones we have change manufactures every year and then they don't want to do anything for you but take your money once you have bought from them. we always end up buying out of state, better pricing far and away!

so if you do have a local dealer and they do have a good rep, it is probably better to pay a little more and buy from them?
