I have had mine for over two years now and it has well been worth the money. I am still waiting to go solar but in the meantime the Honda serves me well. I have used it for our little 18ft TT to run the 8000 btu rooftop and all the appliances but this last year to use a small 5000 btu window unit that in addition to the Honda, creates a super quiet environment. No roof vibration, loud fan noise, and no freeze out. It works great.

This last Friday I used the Honda with the 5000 btu air conditioner in our new to us 40ft TT to cool the living/dining area (closing off the two bedrooms) during the day and it cooled beautifully. In the evening, I opened up the bathroom and the master bedroom and it cooled all of it and ran for over 10 hours on one tank of gas. I left it on economy the whole time including the use of lights and TV and computer.

I vote for the Honda with a solar combo.
