Could you make this in a crock pot if you were going to be gone most of the day? Have you ever tried it? Thanks for the receipt.

I have never tried it in a crock pot...but it should work, the only thing i would do different is to add 3/4 cup of water or chicken stock.

Chef007 - Do you marinade the ribs for anytime prior to cooking or do you simply use this as a basting sauce?

I am going to the store to get a boston butt oe two. I'll cut the butt's into small pieces and add sauce to cook in a crock pot. Any reason this won't work or any other ideas? I'll be back in an hour or so and will start before I go to work in the morning!

it was real easy to do in the crock pot........i just cleaned the pork real good made up the sauce poured it in and let it cook until it was totally shredded..real tender..did go in and keep checking the pork..moved it around..it was about 6hrs i think on high to med........depending on your crock pot..........oh yea i sprayed the crock with pam to help in cleaning.. served it on hamburger buns and some had it with coleslaw on the bun too..
