FireBall,
We spent two weeks camped there, wonderful place!!!!!!
There are plenty of great spots, but stay out of the campground near the start, Bridge Campground, very tight and we were in a smaller rig. There is a great spot about four miles up the road to park the MH and explore with a toad, the spot is a parking area for the kyakers, easy in and out. The area is right after the turnout for the bridge across the river at Squaw Flats. We camped on the other side of the road from the bridge in the large meadow there, it was nice. If you plan to stay a while, I'd stop at Squaw Flats and use the towed to explore up river, to many spots to even begin to tell you.
Fishing was great for me, all native Cutthroat Trout. Buy nightcrawlers in Alpine.
