Advise please: leveling blocks or ramps. Which is easiest to use and store for a B?

I don't have a "B" but I would think the Lego style leveling blocks would be the best for you. They are small, compact, and don't weigh much.

I carry boards in the TT. They are long and heavy, but SOLID! And I can build up one side of the TT as much as 12 inches if I need to. There's always a reciprocating law of give and take. Although very durable and and will work for almost any situation, they are very heavy.

I suggest for your "B" the Lego blocks.

Good luck!

We carry the plastic leveling blocks but frequently don't need them. With a Class B you can often move around some in the campsite and level up adequately. The refrigerator is the critical issue. My wife puts the little bubble level on the counter top and lets me know which way we need to move. If we can't get it approximately level, we use the blocks. Hope this helps.

We bought some of the lego type blocks and have only used them once so far. But it's nice to have them if needed. Dont take up much room in the B.

Leveling blocks are lightweight and easy to store in the bag they come in, they fit in my smallest bay.

Don't buy the open weave ones they break. Get the solid ones.

A little square flat bubble level placed on the dog house between your cup holders when you start to park, can eliminate about 80% of the times you would have normally had to level the RV.

Just moving around a bit while you are still behind the wheel using the flat bubble level as a guide WILL find the level spot within most sites.

The best $3.00 I've spent so far for the MH.

Whatever is used for leveling be sure to support the ENTIRE footprint of the tire otherwise the tire may be overloaded in that section that is on the narrow blocks.

I have two sets (20 blocks) of the Lynx blocks and have recently had to use all of them to get level. I also have one stop block that they sell. The blocks are easy to store because you can spread them around in the RV where ever there is space. This is important in a class B. Also you can use more on one side as the situation calls for. I never had one break in three years that I have been using them. I do think that they are over priced however. On soft ground they sometimes sink in and I wish the company would put out a solid block for the bottom layer.

Leveling blocks are yur best bet, we have two sets just like Gotagetgoing and used both sets a couple times last month when sort of boondocking. Cracked one of them when we set up in some soft ground. What I like about the blocks is that you can adjust to different heights and the fact that they store easily. Got our blocks at Camping World.

The "Fiamma Level Up Plus" ramps, that What Next has, are the best. That's my opinion.

Level Up Plus with chock.
