Yes and going down hill you can feed the gas and still get 17 MPG! Wooo Hooo! Scan Gauge makes you think twice about going over 56 MPH

I had a real-time MPG reading on an old Chrysler T&C minivan - it was quite educational to say the least. Better than the old-time vacuum gauge, IMHO.....
8.7 is pretty typical on my coach, although I tow a boat usually and we are in California, which has a poor MPG gas formula (believe it or not). Scangauge is a great tool and is very easy to use.
