Several answers

1: NO: the park cable goes to an electronic switch.. You may not have an electric switch in the LNB (Antenna) line on a sat receiver unless it is a SAT-type switch (Specifically designed for that line) Mechinical switches are OK however

2: Yes: If you hook the TV-OUT to the park in jack (In fact this is the easiest way to set one up)

3a: Yes, if you follow Winegard's instructions (more on that in a second)
3b: Yes, if you follow my modification of Winegard's instructions.

NOTE: if you have a "Video distribution system" which is a box with many buttons, post and I'll get back to on the specific, but for this I will assume you have, not far from your television, a standard "Wall plate" (The size of a standard 120 volt outlet cover or switch cover) with 4 things.. A 12 volt outlet (Big round hole) a TV-Antenna connnection (Small threaded thing with a even smaller hole) Button, and Light... This is, among other things, the above mentioned electronic switch

Common to both Winegard and my method is opening this box, Identifying the park cable (normall the center cable or #2 from left as you look at it from the rear) disconnecting and verifying that this is the park cable line and remove it from the box.. Replace it with the TV-OUT line from the Sat receiver and extend it, using a "Barrell" connector (a threaded shaft that looks like the antenna cable connection on the front plate, from either end) with another length of cable to the sat receiver.

This is where Winegard and I split

They say run it to LNB-IN

I say run it to TV-ANT-IN, and run a BRAND NEW length of RG-6 to a handy connection point where you can either use a bulkhead connector (One that goes through the wall) or a "Ground block" Mounted to a frame member or other grounded metal part)or another barrel connector like the one you used above.. Those are often sold in 2-packs by the way

NOTE: if you are setting up a dual input DVR this works even better as you just run TWO lengths of RG-6 at the same time (I DID)

Winegard's method give you Rooftop "Over the air" or Sat TV

My method gives you all that PLUS park cable.. if it exists

Nothin adds excitment like something that is none of your business
