Just the noise factor, Yep thats the difference, and you can't beat those small Hondas for being quiet. I worked in heavy construction all my life and I can't stand to hear a noisy generator while I'm out RVing.
Anyways, I wouldn't be with out a generator. My wife weighs 120lbs and I'd leave her home before I'd leave the generator on a long trip. But then mines a built in 5k Onan so that go's to show you what I think about carrying a generator .
