Well I guess it means there will be less problems for us to find nice campsites when we get to Atlantic Canada this year. I'm not waiting for gas to get cheaper.

Well, regardless of the unspeakable subject....I am picking up my new Sundance 5er in Indiana in 2 weeks and DW and I will be headed to BC. and AB. in July, unless you Canadians stop me at the border. And I hope to be pulling a lot of fish out of the water (don't worry, I put 99% of them back).
Like someone said I'm not getting any younger and I am thinking about it.
Canada, here I come.
Frank. Maybe we could start an RVer's Fishin Forum...
What do you think, Frank?

Do you mean one here in RVing Canada or a forum completely separate for every one?
You could PM ADMIN and ask them for that.

Frank,
Since I am going to BC and AB that is what I was referring to. But, one general fishing forum would be great too!!

He got all three, Lake boat, River Boat an Ocean Boat. He been there since 1970 and hopefully in his old age he remembers where they are. One day and a wake up an Im outa here. Will put RV.Net on back glass with shoe polish so you can toot your horn when you go buy.

Well we love going to the states. Now the dollar may be almost par but we are all in the same boat when it comes to gas prices. They suck. We in Canada, have a ton of natural resources. Im in Saskatchewan and the Tar sands do not stop at the Alberta boarder. Someday our goverment may wake up and tap these resources for the good of all north america.Till then we try to save a little each week for our trips.
I hope someday this will get better for all.

Going to Dore Lake SK for July instead of Alaska. I know it won't get any cheaper
in the future; but maybe BC,YT and AK next year. "litew8t" I'll wave on my way
past you.

Start your Fishing Canada & Alaska thread and I will try to keep it on top. If it wanders much, it will be closed.

DW & I have done a bit of traveling in Canada in past years and have enjoyed it tremendously! Our first trip with our new Jayco Jayfeather 25F is going to be to Prince Edward Island. We have heard that it is wonderful and need to find out for ourselves. As others have said, the fuel is probably not going to get any cheaper, so why not do it now while we can afford it! We will be in PEI mid-June for about a 10-day trip. Really looking forward to it!
I'll be listening on 446.00 & 146.52 and checking into the RV Service Net on 7.230MHz between 7-9 a.m.

If you really want to see how beautiful Canada can be skip P.E.I. and go to Cape Breton Island. If was breath takeing. Remends me of the trip down the coast of California. Shear rocks right down to the water. Nice quaint little towns scattered here and there. We went to P.E.I. and paid the $45 return bridge fare but when we went to Cape Breton I said if I ever want back in Canada it's Cape Breton for me.
Happy trails,
