I am recoperating for surgery and looking for a cg on the beach closer to home. We are from western PA, and usually go to Myrtle Beach. Is there anything around Delaware or Maryland?

Check out Delaware State parks. I think there is one right on the beach.

Also,Kiptopeke State Park in Virginia. South end of the DelMarVa penninsula right before you go over the Chespeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Full hookups and cable.

X2 on Assateague, very nice cg right on the beach but the downfall is they have very few full hookup sites.
Another to look at is Island Resort CG. It's about a 15 min drive to OC. Very large campsites with full hookups, and it surrounds a lake that is stocked. We stayed there this past weekend and would def recommend it.

When this place is open Castaways RV Resort & Campground, it will be right on the beach for those particular spots that are water-front.

Assateague has NO FULL HOOKUPS, only one loop with electric only. No water or sewer at sites.

Thanks for all the CG ideas. Most of the CG's don't have full service, and we hope to stay for a week. Also, some of them do not accept pets, and our choc. lab travels with us. One CG that we may try is Big Oaks, very near to Rehobath. Has anyone tried this CG, and what do you think.
