We have squirrel problems when camping in Big Sur (Cal). They go for plug wires on cars, RVs, etc. Also like to eat at the insulation. We usually put the dogs near the cars to prevent the buggers from coming near. Thanks for the peppermint oil tip - we will definitely give that a try.

I just picked up a small bottle of peppermint oil from my local Health Food Store. Cost $5.99 and is very concentrated. Smell is powerful and im going to give it a try under the RV and in the RV engine compartment by putting some of the peppermint oil on a tiny rag in a few spots . Even the lady at the Counter knew about using peppermint oil for this purpose.
