the Thermarest bunk ends are only available on Kodiak/Cub hybrids. no
other company has them.
they've been out for a couple of model years. the first year they were an expensive option. then they became standard.

i would go to the Kodiak/Cub owners forum. you'll be able to get a lot of questions answered. it's located under the Dutchmen Owners Forum. here's a link:

Welcome to the cub club, We love ours. In this instance we like the idea that bigger is better, when weight is still small! Have fun!!!

I am such a child. I am getting more and more excited about the trailer that I am now having problems sleeping.

Too bad the weather report says it's going to rain all weekend.

LOL, you are funny. I know how you feel. I was the same way, and I still get that way before a trip :-) We used to have a 2003 Cub, same size, but it was our trial camper. There are 3 of us every other weekend, so in bad weather it was tough. We camped in it 13 weekends last summer and one weekend this summer. We have a Cub dealership nearby and looked at the larger cub, we liked a lot of things about it, but we loved even more things about our Roo, which is why there are so many trialers out there. Keep us up to date on how the Thermarest bunks work out.

My boyfriend and I are tall people (I am 5'10 and he is 6'4) so we are looking forword to the extra head room that the Therm-a-Rest provide.

I will let you know how they hold up in the rain since that's all we are getting this weekend.

So we just got home with the new trailer and we LOVE it. Not to happy with the dealership.

It's a long story and I am still to mad to talk about it, but I wouldn't recommend Heidi's RV Superstore to ANYONE, not even my worst enemy.

We just bought our Cub 185 yesterday, and we will be picking it up next week...we are pretty much itching to go camping with it! We are new to the whole RV thing, so we will be attending the two hour PDI and instruction session We also have the Therma rest ends and are looking forward to unzipping one to slide my 13' kayak in It is just the wife and I (and the rott'n-lab) so it should be fun!

Be interested to hear if water pools where the tent top jons the trailer body. From the pictures it looks like the water runs from the tent to the trailer.
