I have an 08 Mountaineer 345DBQ. I just bought a 15 watt solar panel kit from Camping World to keep my battery charged. Does anyone have suggestions on how to run the wires from the solar panel so they're not hanging outside the 5th wheel? I'd like to run them from the solar panel to the battery keeping it inside as much as I can. I already check the tech section and there wasn't anything there.
Thnaks in advance.

I usually go down through the referigerator compartment (be sure to go down the opposite side ofrom the flue tube) and then depending on the unit either underneath the unit to the batteries or if the fuse panel is close by I will connect in to it. Excellant choice of RV buy the way. that is the best bunkhouse 5w there is (just my opinion).

Reefer vent.
As far North as you live don't expect much out of that little solar panel. When its cloudy you will get nothing out of it.

To get to the basement send it down the holding tank vent. You will need to seal the hole real good around the wire after the install. From there to the panel controller & on to the battery bank.

I ran mine down the holding tank vent into the cellar where I mounted the controller, then to the batteries. IMHO The 15 watt solar panel is pretty useless unless you are using it just to keep your single battery charged while your unit is stored.
