Don,

Sounds good at your house! Oysters grilled, would be a new thing on how to prepare them to me. BBQed shrimp, in cayenne pepper, MMMMMmmm, are a good slam dunk to BBQ!

I'm picking up some bone-in chicken breast halves for .99 cents a lb. from Albertson's today. Going to marinade them in beer for 45 minutes to an hour, before transferring them to the BBQ- real charcoal grill.

Ought to be a good dinner with lots of leftovers!

I have a sweet tender nature, however I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions.

got 3 racks of ribs in the smoker right now. Teriyaki chicken will go on the grill about noon along with some hot dogs and burgers. Kids should start arriving in an hour or so.

Got some baked beans ready to cook and Gorgeous made tater salad last night.

Iced tea and cold soda pop to wash it all down.

Ya'll have a great Memorial Day.
Now, this is a HIT, Preacher! Sounds excellent!

I am jealous!

We are not cooking anything on the grill today, but we did grill oysters on our last camping trip to the Gulf.

When they were just right, we put a bit of pesto and feta cheese on them and they were wonderful!!! Can't wait to try that again!

Steak, beef kielbasa, and scallops marinaded in a soy ginger garlic vinegarette, portobello mushrooms, button mushrooms, baby summer squash, garlic, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, anaheim peppers, carrots, red onions, and zucchini. It was shishkabob time, with couscous salad on the side, tzatziki, and honey mead or red wine.

Dessert: peach or cherry pie with ice cream.

Tomorrow: back on the exercise machines...
