Cornish hens, butterflied and seasoned to taste. 40 minutes skin side up over indirect heat - grill cover on and no peeking!

Don, Sounds good at your house! Oysters grilled, would be a new thing on how to prepare them to me.
Joe, check out the PPT, just did a little run down on how we do them.
Thanks, Don!

Just checked out your preparation tips this afternoon.

For the oysters, try injecting a little tabascoe/melted butter mixture into them while they cook on the bbq. I hear tell it is yummy. I don't eat oysters, but DH loves them cooked over the bbq that way. We pick up a couple dozen when we are in Newport at the Yaquina Bay Oyster beds on the bay road to Toledo.

Barb, got about a ¼ bushel left and you are welcome to them. I’m officially “oystered out” for awhile

Tammala, that sounds great and will have to try it next time around!

A lot of delicious meals posted! Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day!

We did ours yesterday afternoon (Sunday). Not grilling, frying catfish fillets, chicken tenders for the kids, corn on the cob, baked beans, cole slaw, hush puppies, and banana puddin' for dessert.

Babyback ribs and smoked sausage on the grill, yeast rolls, potato salad and Bush's Grillin' Beans on the side.

Didn't even fire up the grill this week end, but had a yummy lunch yesterday. Cooked a brisket in the oven(in a cooking bag) on low all night, cooked some fresh green beans and new potatoes all night in the crock pot. Made fake Long John Silver's chicken strips, mac and cheese and corn on the cob. Had cheese cake with fresh strawberries and strawberry short cake. Mom, all three kids and all 5 grandkids were here. Had a great time.

Today was left overs for lunch and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches for supper.

Still have the two oldest grand kids here. They are going to help me get some cleaning done before we have to go to the hospital for the 2 week stay.

Those Bush's Grillin beans are pretty good aren't they? Tried them on our last camping trip.

Buffalo meat sirloins, a pork roast in the dutch oven, and country pork chops, and a half dozen chicken legs.

We suffered, we did.
