Thanks for all of your responses and assistance. I removed the inside crank assembly and fished around with a coat hanger and was able to grab the broken cable. Luckily, there was extra cable tucked up into the ceiling panel.
Harvard, you are right. It broke off where the antenna wire was connected using a coupler. I got it fixed and it works well. I will not let this happen again!

On our MH I hang the ignition/storage bay keys on the crank when I put it up. Reminds me to crank the antenna down before starting the engine. Didn't do that on the 2000 DSDP and drove through downtown Seattle on the freeway with it up, no damage done though.
