..............Airstream is a very nice trailer , but very overpriced in my estimation ! For the asking price they should be a full , four season trailer but aren't and probably never will be . jf

There was a guy up here in Canada who parked his Airstream at the Blue Mountain ski resort and lived in it all Winter. They seem to work well for hot or cold weather.

Yeah, our old 67 Airstream is a winterworthy rig: Heated tanks, lines, etc. Not that I'd want to be anywhere really cold in the winter in any RV. It's bad enough to live here in Fridged Ridge in a stick residence during the winter.

To get back to the original question . . . many of those "guests" are probably "spiders" or "bots" from the various search engines that are scanning the site looking for links, etc.

Up until a week ago the all time record for on line users was around 1,200 at one time. At this moment it is twice that. I notice in the middle of the night it drops down to less than 100 as one would expect. Do "spiders" and "bot" only do their thing in the day time??

I think they are more active when the online traffic is lower due to speed issues?

Road Ruler, regarding the rear-end drag, I addressed that issue before I added the wing. I installed AirTabs, which are vortex generators that are designed to reduce the rear-end drag. I suppose they help a bit on mileage, but it was too small to measure accurately (certainly less than 1 mpg for me), but they also do help a lot in rear-end stability when in crosswinds and when passing 18-wheelers.

As stated before, aerodynamics can be tricky, especially without the use of windtunnel testing on each specific rig. Who knows, maybe the wind-deflector wing and the AirTabs act together synergistically? All I know is that I'm very happy to achieve Airstream-like performance, both in economy and handling, at one-third the cost.

I really enjoy the Airstream Forums! I've learned so much (as a newbie to the Airstream world). I do get a little tired of reading the SAME people's comments written the SAME way over and over. As soon as I see the name of the writer, I know, basically, what he/she is going to say - factually or emotionally. It's been interesting to read more comments from more Airstream owners on this thread than on most AirForum threads. It has been fun to see some of our old friends commenting here but for the most part, the AirForums have gotten just a little tiring. That's why I enjoy coming here - more people with more ideas and comments about more things. Keep up the good work..........

Let me point it again. It is not the different comments on Airstream forum don't appear. It is just that they don't last.
