Anyone experienced a bent tongue on the FB2200 model? Mine's a 2005 and after my last trip this past weekend the tongue appears pretty bent. I'm going to take some measurements tonight and call WW tomorrow.
I saw all the issues with the superlites bending but haven't seen anyone list an issue on this model. I'm going to check and see if I have the 1/8 or 3/16 framing on my tongue.
Aren't the frames suppose to have a lifetime warranty?
Well doing some more research I am part of the class action suit so it should be getting fixed. Any Zieman frame on any model from 98 thru 06 is part of the lawsuit. The prophylactic fix only applies to the superlites or FS models. I don't have the boxed frame on my tongue like the newer ones do. It's C channel and is 3/16 thick which is no where near as strong as boxed 3/16. It's bending right where it goes under the main body so I see no way that the WD bars could be causing the issue. If it was bending between the WD mounting point and the ball I would say the WD bars could be suspect but they aren't loading the area over a foot behind where they attached which is where the bend is happening.
