Grand daughter just left me know that smores are better if you use a reeses peanut butter cup instead of the hersey bar. Just use the graham cracker, toasted marshmellow and then the peanut butter cup. Sounds good. I like to use club crackers instead of graham crackers. Takes the too sweet taste away. Can't wait to try the peanut butter cup smores'.....

I'm sure they're better with Ghirardelli chocolate instead of Hershey's.

Proper ingredients for real s'mores:

Hershey bars
Jet-Puff marshmallows
Cinnamon honey graham crackers

Is "too sweet" possible? Naahhh!

That said, I am always open to trying variations, so invite me on over to the fire!

Smor'e'O's, Use those big Oreos cookies instead of graham crackers. Screw open and insert cooked/burnt marshmallow. No need to add chocolate and don't break as easy as crackers.

I have always put peanut butter on the graham crackers, so it is essentially the same taste. And yes, it's better.

My favorite way to make S'mores is to use two Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies. It's a shortbread cookie with a coating of chocolate on the back and three chocolate stripes on the front. The chocolate coating on the back melts better with a hot marshmallow then a big chunk of a chocolate candy bar.

I was never a big fan of graham crackers, even as a kid.

We wrap them in foil to cook and use marshmallow, chocolate bar, pecan halves, and toffee bits. I like to smash it some after it has cooked and let mine cool a lot before eating.

I'm not a huge fan of graham crackers either. I'll try with fudge stripe cookies next time!

Great, I'll try a Reese's Cup. I don't like regular Smores. Thanks for sharing.
