I searched lists and didn't find much of a selection. We are just getting ready to go back full timing after 6 years in a stick house and I would appreciate a good Checklist for leaving and travel with our Pusher and Toad.
Come on guys, lay em on me!

Hi Slate
Yes, I did check that out but I'm thinking there's better checklists out there. As the years go by, the memory seems to go bye bye. I need a great list.

Once you have your list, you should consider what I do... (I got this idea from a hints book)

Put each task you need to accomplish on a clothes pin (I painted mine) and attach the clothes pins to your visor when you have completed your camp set-up. Then as you prepare to leave camp, remove the pins one at a time, calling out the task to your partner, to re-enforce its accomplishment.

I find this system very flexible and effective. The pins remain in the driver's line of sight until removed, and you clip up only those pins that are needed for the particular camp. You can also add and remove tasks easily.

I store the pins in a small zipper pouch, near the driver's seat.

Good luck and enjoy your RV.

PM me with your email address. I have a good checklist that we have been using for 4 years. It is excel spreadsheet so you can change stuff around to personalize it for your needs.

Now Admiral, that is a pretty nifty idea. There's been countless times we've seen rigs going down the road with their crank-up antenna standing upright and just a flappin' in the wind or their steps still extended out. About a week ago I was in town and there was a fifth wheel going down the road and one of the cargo doors was open. Fortunately he was headed into Wally World so his pooch could, well, you know so I followed him in and gave him a heads up. Good idea you have there...thanks for sharing.... had to laugh at the next thread about "trying to remember to use the pins" though. see ya. C
