We usually use foil but we use in UNDER the burners instead of on the top.

So the foil sits in the very bottom of the grill? We'll have to try that.

We have a storage case for ours and it keeps everything together and neat.

What does the case look like? I wonder if I could get one for our grill.

Our RVQ grill is the best part of our trailer. The key is to avoid the really fatty meats, which is healthier anyway.

Keep in dirty and the food tastes better.

I never clean mine. I just burn off the thing by turning it up on high for 10 minutes and then cool it down for cooking.

I don't cook fatty meats on it, but it makes good chicken breast or lean pork chops.

RVQ away!

I used the RVQ that came with our hybrid. I miss not having it on our new TT.

I grill the foods I like and that usually means well marbled... any grill or open fire works for me, but after going through so many cheap to costly ones, I settled on my Weber Q for traveling... it is hard to make a bad piece of meat on it and it makes me look like I knew what I was doing... I have three large grills I use at my seasonal...

this weekend I had 9 full racks of baby backs on one grill and 3 dozen ears of corn on another, with burgers and dogs and beans on the third...

I am ordering 30 pounds of porterhouse later today...

IMHO cleaning a grill is only the price you pay for a little slice of heaven...

I use a table top grill I bought 14 years ago (it is in dire need of a new burner unit ) I clean off the grilling surface with a good brush.
as for storage I let it cool overnight and put it back into a plastic bag then back into it's place in the trailer.

I am really considering it. Bought a 300 buck grill, and after the first year it has been a pain. Stainless outside, but cheap everywhere else. I will buy a charcol grill or a 80 buck gas grill next time. I cannot see buying one of those 600 dollar grills. Not yet anyway.

we had a block party Sunday and the neighbor used charcoal to do a ton of great chicken...

we used a wood fire to do a pig last year, but I haven't used charcoal myself in a long time...

I had a big picnic Saturday, and will have another this weekend since some of the family had to work over the holiday... I have no problem with the way gas grills and it is so much more convenient...

this is getting like gasoline though, I better do it while I can still afford to do it...

We got our RVQ with our first camper. Works like a champ after I took the second regulator off. Kept it when we traded the camper in.
