How many of you have been asked how much you are putting at the gas station. I just bought my C and at both fill ups, some wise guy wants to know how much it is costing me. They're laughing

I just might tell them, "IF you have to ask how much is costs to fuel it, then obviously you can't afford it"

But, that's just me.

Exactly! Or try, "I dunno, but it's worth it!" Resist the temptation to point out that you're going camping and they're not.

If they're driving a large pickup truck or SUV I tell them that I get 10 mpg only when I go camping but that they're getting 13 mpg every day, all day, year round.

If it makes you feel any better, I love the idiots who ask me at a car show what kind of gas mileage my camaro gets. It's a 650hp hot rod!

You should see their jaw drop when I tell them how much racing fuel costs.
