I like the fence charger. That way we do not have to chase the person down.

Got 3 on the house covering most access points in yard/driveway. Installed by my alarm co(ADT) - can watch my yard from where ever I have wi-fi while traveling or just to see what all the ruckus is outside without having to present myself.

I have a couple of aluminum bats, and would be happy to camp out with you.

i was reading the post...i dont mean to be a smart @## or anything, but it sounds like your going to put a whole lot of money into possibly something that could just be mishaps. just curious, what you described is the condition of my trailer when i picked it up from the factory.....loose bolts, parts, pins..... and i could of swore the last time we camped i locked that one compartment door.

The cameras are cheap for a reason. If you put up a nice one, they steal the camera.
No I don't think that a whole series of things like that are "mishaps". It sounds a lot more like why when I camp. I pull the fuse that runs the front jacks.

I agree with The BigPunn...we actually had one of our four hitch pins work loose on it's own; found the cotter pin in the bed of the truck.

If someone was going to "vandalize" a unit, I would think they would do real damage and probably steal items, not just loosen things. JMHO!

I'm not sure of your intended use of the camera. I think you are making the assumption that you will recognize the vandal. If it is vandalism, what are you going to do if you don't recognize the vandal.
Seems like a lot of money spent for nothing.

Perhaps it would be a deterrent if you post signs indicating surveillance camera in use.

You best defense in this case is to check everything before starting a trip.

Try Radio Shack

Radio Shack sells the X-10. Best cheapest cameras you can get. With the Firecracker and motion sensor, you can also monitor your RV from any computer, any where. Best $150 I ever spent.

Hi All.

As far as the pins goes for your hitch, why don't you do like a lot of other Rv'er have done, including ourselfs. Add the pins, that you can put a pad-lock through them. We have a Two Piece Hitch with a BedSaver on our Hitch. Both halfs are pad-locked together once the hitch is installed. All 4 pins that attach to the bed rails are also pad-locked. All of our pad-locks are keyed the same. We now never have to worry about any pins being un-done, or pulled out by strangers or kids. The cost of the new Pins, and Pad-Locks were not much, but the Peace of Mind, was worth every penny of the cost.. Good Luck. Happy Camping, Dan & Jill
