Just got back from our first trip in our HTT. It was great, everything worked perfectly. Really poured rain Sat night, it was so nice to all fit with room to spare, around the table, and play games into the night! After being in a popup for so many years, felt like a mansion! Wife and kids also liked not having to brave the heavy rain to go to the bathroom.
Thanks again to all of you for your help in selecting the right unit for us!
Now, its off to Yellowstone in 2 weeks! The west is so cool!
We can't believe that is our trailer in the drive. Somehow it doesn't seem real.
Thanks again,
Dave
PS- anybody on the fence about getting an HTT, do it!

Great beginning! Popups are a big improvement over tents in rainy weather, but HTTs are as big an improvement over PUPs, IMO. Glad you had a good time, and wish you a great & safe trip to Yellowstone!

I'm in the same boat as you Dave. We went to a HTT this spring and love it sooooo much more than our previous PUP, for all the same reasons. Can't wait to go up to Lake Superior in a month for a week. Unfortunately we also had to upgrade from an Explorer to an Expedition, which we also love. Just didn't want to have to do that.

Dale-
Lake Superior is really nice. Have a great time.
It is fuuny how things change. We have been camping in a popup since the 70's and I never thought I would be in a camper. I don't think I would if it weren't for a HTT. The tent still gives you that open air feeling!
