The day before my 3/30 heart attack I removed the Lance from the truck so that my wife could do some yard work. Needless to say with the attack and the subsequent surgery in mid-April we weren't going anywhere with the Lance.
Today was the big day - I just loaded it this afternoon and I'm ready to rock and roll again. Interestingly we loaded it and there was no cursing or bit###ing! I think the medication they have me on has mellowed me!
I only drew a little blood when I stood up and hit my head on the rain gutter as I was connecting the electrical - hardly any at all. Didn't embarass any of the neighbors with my language and there were young kids playing nearby!
I have thanked the Lord for my different perspective on what upsets me. It used to be any little thing would rattle me and usually spin me up. Now, I've learned that most of that turmoil was just my perspective. This part of your life, you can enjoy peace. Peace with yourself. Peace with others. Those close to you will see a difference. They will be thankful as well. So glad that you have recovered, so is your family.
We never know how many days we have. I have decided to rejoice in this one!
