I think you would be happy with the Dip. I know others will say that the customer service for warranty work is great and I am not disputing that, it is just that I do my own work and so I cannot comment on warranty issues. I can however comment on their support as a owner of a pre-owned unit and it is awesome. Some companies will give outstanding support for the original owner and then after that your on your own. Not so with Monaco, I have called to get information on my own as well as others' and they are very helpful with technical assistance, wiring schematics, exploded parts diagrams and many other items.

Now about the coach itself I am very happy with the overall workmanship and fit/finish of the coach. It is very well fabricated and thought out. I was pretty much leaning towards a Monaco product after looking at chassis designs and options that were out there. I am very impressed with the handling and performance of the coach thus far. Mike.

Walldo;
I bought my first Class A this past January - an '08 Monaco 40 SFT. I would buy it again and again and again.

We had a problem with the full body slide, called Monaco, got a nice lady who checked with our local Monaco dealer, found that the wait was too long for a fix, and sent us to a place called RV Masters - all of this hurry because I told her we wanted to leave on a trip, which of course was true.

RV Masters replaced something, adjusted something else and charged $257.21. Monaco reimbursed us right away. It mostly just needed some adjustment.

Bottom line. We find the fit and finish to be terrific for a coach that we could afford, and we did look at a bunch of coaches. I'm sold on Monaco. We've not had any other problem (that I didn't cause )

Another consideration ;
Monaco will likely still be in business, down the road.

We have a 2007 Safari Cheetah 38 PDQ, built at the Coburg plant, which we toured this fall. We have had several warranty issues, one of which is serious, but Monaco has been right there for us. We deal directly with Monaco because our dealer is in Florida (not Lazydays...). Monaco is fine with our contacting them directly and they have covered everything that has arisen, from reimbursing us for pulling out the wiring under the co-pilot's chair when we rotated it (a problem in a lot of coaches) to rebuilding the entire sub-floor of the unit. Yes, that's a biggie. The coach is at RV Renovators and they are doing a fabulous job, emailing photos along the way, and taking care of everything that arose in the first year of ownership. The house warranty expired in mid-May, but the coach was already at its appointment in Mesa, and all problems are being covered by Monaco. We would buy another. We love our coach in spite of the issues, most of which were minor. It's good to know Monaco comes through when the going gets tough, though. We have an unusual problem, the seriousness of which didn't become evident until the damaged tiles were removed. This is not likely to happen to you.

I have owned three Monacos and would buy another in a heart beat They stand behind their product like no other. I love the 8 airbag chassis unbelievable drive. I have also owned a American Dream ( Spartan chassis) And a Damon Escaper (Frieghtliner Chassis w/ Cat) Those where also good but much prefer the Monaco( Roadmaster) in handling.

We have had our 05 Monaco Beaver Santaim for a year now and really like it, have not had any major issues with the MH, have contacted Monaco a couple time about some parts and they came right thru, very helpful. We went to the Beaver Rally in San Diego last Feb, our first, Manaco was there and we really learned alot about the MH. I think you can not go wrong with a Monaco unit.

Happy RVing

Our last MH was a 2004, 40' Monaco Diplomat and it was great. Had a few minor issues, but nothing major. It did ride hard compared to our present MH. The cats hated the tar strips on the highway, but it always ran and ran great. The interior fit and finish was very good for the money.

Thanks for your replies, the fit and finish along with the Roadmaster chassis is what pulled me to the Monaco brand. Again thanks for your info and experience with the coach
