Ease up on the all CAPS !!

I have been toying with the same idea of a toolbox on back of the TT as I have wound up with an extra aluminum box due to a trade with the step-son. Will be interesting to see the replies.

I bought a large plastic toolbox and u-bolted it to a couple of left-over bicycle rack brackets that fit on my rear bumper.

I asked this question a few weeks ago. I will past the thread but not sure if this is the best way to put it. http://www.trailerlife.com/cforum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/21419017.cfm

I will say I asked manufacture about weight limit on bumper and was told 100lbs. I have also read about bumps falling off with some wieght on them. So from what I have read do not put on bumper but attach supports to frame. As you will see on my tread there are some issues with putting weight that far back espesially on a TT. The already walk a lot and you ad more weight that far back it may walk more. good luck

If memory serves me correctly didn't 4HPYCMPRS make a new tube bumper before that mod ? I believe he got bashed before he mentioned that fact.

His mod is a great idea with excellent execution.
